Catherine Parry is a children’s book author and illustrator with two of her own books under belt, starting a third, and an illustration project completed for a client as well. She spent about 15 years of her life in a variety of art classes. While in these classes she learned how much the choices made like: value, color, and perspective can tell a story within art. That is the knowledge and approach she uses when creating the illustrations for her children’s books. Cat loves the classics of children’s literature and has a special love for physical art, or the way she puts it, “there is just something special about a human putting strokes on a paper and allowing us to see a piece of their soul.”

When Catherine decided to create a children’s book and then self publish she had no idea of where to start. Hours upon hours were spent researching what she could. Now she is ready to help guide you on your journey whether that is becoming a children’s book author or an illustrator… maybe even both!
