This book is beautifully illustrated. The children in my daycare loved Charlotte and her big ears. They enjoyed the story and I enjoyed the message the story gave to the kids.
My daughter loved having us read this to her as a bedtime story. The art is very beautiful and the story teaches a simple but profound lesson about understanding our own worth as individuals, despite what others may think, which we think is a wonderful principle to instill in our children!

This was a big hit in my house, my kids loved it! I'm a huge fan of the illustrations, they felt similar to the ones in the books I read as a child.
Loved the modern twist on this classically styled book. The illustrations were amazing, really gave way to my imagination and what else I could think about the adorable Teddy and his family! Bringing in the jump challenge to overcome was just perfect for the intended age group - if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!
What an amazing story of Theodore James and his journey to help his family gather food. Theodore wants to be able to jump as far as Father James. I love how his father gives him words of encouragement. Growth mindset with an incredible story! This beautiful book is well written and beautifully illustrated by Catherine Parry. I love anything vintage. This book is classic and reminds me of the books I enjoyed as a child. I shared it with my daycare kids and they loved it too. The illustrations are beautiful and the story was exciting. The kids couldn't wait to see what happened to Theodore.
